Royal Oak FC welcomes back Ashley Wormall to the club for the 2022/23 season. Coach Ash will be coaching the 2006 Boys, 2006 Girls, and 2010 Boys.

Ashley is in his second season with the club as it's Technical Director. He has an international soccer reputation having spent the last 18 years playing and coaching across the world in the UK, USA, and Australia. Ashley was born in Nottingham, playing soccer at a high level in the national league before moving over to the United States to play on a soccer scholarship. Upon completion of his scholarship, graduating with a Business Degree, he moved to Australia for a brief playing stint before moving back to the United States to take over as the head of the Chicago Fire's Emerging Talent Program. Over the last few years, he has held a number of different positions including an international soccer consultant for Youth Elite Soccer solutions, Executive director for Michigan Thunder, and a director for Borussia Dortmunds International Academy. Ashley is also the co-founder of Absolute Soccer, an international training, and development program that has seen its players go on to play professionally in 6 countries as well as representing the US National team at various levels. He also holds over 13 coaching qualifications from the English FA, United States Soccer Federation, United Soccer Coaches Association, and Professional Football Scouts Association. 

Ashley also spends his time running Absolute Soccer as well as working with Everton FCs international academy.
