The ROFC College Placement Program has been put in place to help any of our Student/Athletes play at the next level if they want to.  This program involves Douglas Cardosi (ROFC Director of College Placement), Ashley Wormall (Technical Director), and your Staff Coach to ensure that you are receiving the correct information and guided along to finding the right fit not only athletically but academically.  

Our club players will have access to…

  • College Seminars – (Coaches Panels, Current and former College player interviews, and more).
  • Attending College games in the fall live.
  • College Showcases (Teams will have an opportunity to attend).
  • College ID Camps (We will provide information about different one both local and afar).
  • Monthly Newsletters giving you up-to-date on processes you should be aware of during the year.
  • Zoom calls with Doug Cardosi to talk about where you are and what you should be doing
  • A college guide that you may refer to on your own time that covers how to make a profile, how to write a cover letter, scholarships, and much more.
  • Access to Veo game footage to help with highlights videos to send to coaches.
  • Our staff will reach out to college coaches about you and help you along the recruiting process.

Our goal will be to provide you with every tool to make a very difficult decision easier by the information we provide and the guidance we give.  If you want to play in college, we will help you find a place. 

Doug Cardosi is the person to contact if you have any questions about college athletics. Doug has over 30 years of coaching expertise, spanning ODP, PDL, and collegiate levels, and brings a lot of soccer knowledge and experience. He currently coaches at Detroit Mercy university and has previously coached at the University of Concordia (Chicago), DePaul University, and Dominican University.

Doug's mission is to assist our young athletes in navigating the college recruiting process. Using our current tools,  with our VEO cameras, players will be able to create solid profiles and video highlights.
